All of the switch mechanism is located under the track inside the roadbed. 3. The switch is controlled with 2 wires which change the position of the switch. 4. Each switch has "Power routing mode" and "Non-power routing mode". "Power routing mode" is used in DC control mode. "Non-power routing mode" is used in DCC control mode.
